Range of activities:
- studies of microbiological processes in the reservoir environment of underground gas stores (UGS);
- preventive activities - the use of biocidal agents, H2S scavengers, and inhibitors for the control of SRB and prevention of the biogenic formation of H2S;
- bioremediation of petroleum related compounds in the contaminated land;
- biodegradation of polymers contained in the drilling mud;
- microbial technologies for stimulating the hydrocarbon deposits exploitation;
- microbial prospecting methods: a surface method and the microbial well survey technique;
- testing of antibacterial preparates (biocides).
